No matter where you go in the world, if your walking along the beach you’re going to encounter a plastic trash on the beach. In some places, an incredible amount. Most of it is some form of container. Used and discarded long ago the container is still almost perfectly intact.
Plastic is great. Its light, easy to transport and holds up well. The problem is when its time to discard it.
I think about biodegradable plastic. The problem for manufacturers is, when should it start breaking down. A month? A year? 10 years?
I love to see some kind of plastic zapper. Something like the size of the pen that when you’re done with that milk container, you touch it with the zapper and it sends a jolt of electricity that starts the decomposition/breakdown process. It would work on anything plastic- toys, containers, auto parts, whatever.
The zapper would be easy to use so that even a child could zap the plastic.
